Estate Planning and Preparation
Financial advisor Brent Vandermeer joins Dave and Reb again on this week’s show to talk about estate planning and leaving a legacy for those you leave behind after death. He shares many great questions that get listeners thinking about what will happen to their properties, wealth, and families after they are gone. Together they come to the conclusion that estate planning is part of our role as God’s stewards.
Their conversation today, follows an earlier radio show in May where Dave and Reb spoke with lawyer Ian McLean about the importance of having a will, especially in our society where 50 to 60 per cent of Canadians don’t have one.
“These conversations need to be front and centre in our families,” Reb says. “So that we leave behind answers to hard questions, during intense times of grieving.”
Dave emphasizes the importance of stewarding this part of our lives, in light of God’s calling on us as the caretakers and managers of His resources.
Take a listen to hear their conversation, as Brent shares how trusted financial advisors can lead you through some of the decisions that need to be made with thoughtfulness and wisdom.
