Online teacher, financial advisor and entrepreneur Jason Lindsay loves challenging young people and igniting their passions. Through an online educational service called Young Entrepreneurs of Canada, Jason Lindsay teaches teenagers how to take an idea and turn it into a business.

On today’s radio show, he joins Dave and Reb to share the ins and outs of the business and financial courses he has been offering for the past three years.

“A lot of people never learn to do this practical financial and business stuff,” he says. “These courses get the youth off to a good start now, instead of having to wait until later in their lives.”

Lindsay offers basic financial and accounting courses, alongside courses that teach public speaking and how to find a job. His entrepreneurship course gets students developing a business plan that they start carrying out as the course progresses.

“It sounds like so much practical learning that many of us have only received ‘on the job’,” Dave says. “What a great way for young people to learn.”

For more information go to Lindsay’s website. Whether you or your children attend school or learn at home, his courses are designed to provide basic and practical financial and business tools that will encourage financial awareness and entrepreneurship.
