The extraordinary events and circumstances taking place today have not been seen in any time in our written history. Although the world has seen many challenging times, this global pandemic and response is unprecedented. Today on “Let’s Talk Money”, Dave and Reb talk about the current crisis and the financial needs arising from loss of work and sickness.
Proverbs 27:23 reminds us to be diligent to know the state of our flocks, while attending to our herds. This statement is not any less true, and perhaps is even MORE true, as we seek to respond to what is happening globally.
Dave encourages listeners to get in touch with their lenders, or the More Than Enough office if they want answers regarding their current mortgage payment options. Even though deadlines have shifted for income tax payments as well, listeners need to be aware of what that means for them.
“Tax documentation will still need to be submitted, and listeners may want to do that sooner than later, especially if people will receive a financial return,” Dave says, reminding people that prudence and awareness is crucial at this time.
An important part of today’s show includes encouraging people in what Reb calls “a spiritual RESET with God.”
“This is not a time just to binge watch Netflix,” she says. “This is an opportunity to press into our God, and sit with Him and reset our life and priorities as His body. We have long served ease and comfort in place of discipleship and surrender, and He is calling to us in this time to draw near to Him, and learn from Him.”
Tune in to listen to today’s show. Or please call the More Than Enough office at 613-520-4157 to get the answers to your mortgage, tax and personal cashflow questions.
