Dave and Reb invite Kingdom Advisor’s National Director Lorne Robinson to today’s “Let’s Talk Money” show, as they look at the effects of the pandemic on markets and personal finance. This show follow’s last week’s discussion on the impact this global crisis is having on Canadian families with regards to mortgages and taxes.

With the response of the markets to the Covid-19 outbreak, Canadians are wondering what they are to do with their market investments. Robinson recommends getting advice from a trusted advisor, but also encourages listeners to keep a long-term perspective at this time. He says that although it is hard to do, it is important to stay the course.

“People are afraid of losing what they have,” he adds. “There is the fear of loss and the fear it will get worse.”

But Robinson wants to remind listeners that this has been the sharpest and quickest decline the market has seen, and it will be a journey and a process for the market to rebound.

“This season will be a process of moving from fear to faith as well,” he says, reminding people that our trust and confidence is not ultimately in the markets, but in God and His love, care and provision for us.

Listen in, and hear their discussion.
