To our valued More Than Enough Financial Tax Clients:

In the wake of COVID-19 and the daily updates and barrage of information being dispersed, we are writing to you to help make sense of some of the confusion.

Firstly, we are open for business. As a business that provides professional services and financing, we are considered “essential.”  A majority of our services can be done through technology which ensures the safety of our clients and our employees.  The office is closed to the public except on Wednesdays, when we are open to receive documents. Please call (613)-520-4157 for protocol directions before coming.

Next, do not delay in filing your taxes.  Even though the deadline for filing has been pushed back to June 1, 2020, if you delay filing your taxes, you will delay benefitting from some of the incentives the government has put in place to assist people through this difficult time. The GSTC (GST credit) is dependent upon your tax return being filed as is the CCB (Canada Child Benefit).  As mentioned above, tax documents can be dropped off any Wednesday at our office or you can scan and email us directly at info@morethanenough.ca.

Lastly, some tips for accessing benefits and relief, should you need it.  Register at CRA My Account, My Service Canada Account and, if applicable, with your mortgage lender. By establishing an on-line presence, you will be informed of any changes and if your situation changes you have direct access to relief. The government’s COVID-19 economic response plan can be found at https://www.canada.ca/en/department-finance/economic-response-plan.html.

Do not hesitate to contact us should you need more information. We are available by phone (613) 520-4157 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday to Friday and check our messages and emails info@morethanenough.ca regularly.

We hope that you and your family are healthy and safe. May this be a season of renewing and refreshing for all of us.

On behalf of the More Than Enough team,

Debbie Gallagher,

Client Care Specialist
