Dave and Reb speak to regular guest Rev. Ray Borg from Financial Discipleship Canada (FDC) on today’s “Let’s Talk Money” to get an update on what FDC is hearing and seeing across the nation in this time of Covid-19.
FDC is a family of ministries connecting finances with discipleship, and part of what they do is offer group studies and training through Compass Canada. As part of the online universe we are now living in, they have put one of their studies online so churches can remain engaged with their members in financial and stewardship learning and growth.
Dave and Reb also share how More Than Enough has been shifting and adapting in these changing times.
“Our Financial Fitness Seminar, and some of our coaching workshops have gone completely online,” Dave says. “While the technology can be unpredictable it is opening opportunities we otherwise would not be having right now.”
They also talk about how the church across Canada is reflecting the heart, worship and prayer of the first New Testament church. While it doesn’t look exactly the same, especially as society is physically-distancing, the church is awakening to these changing situations.
