On today’s “Let’s Talk Money with Dave and Reb” podcast, Reb shares her writing journey and the obstacles she has faced in getting started. Awareness, commitment, and making a plan are not only a part of Reb’s journey, but they are a part of the journey to financial freedom. Getting started can sometimes be the biggest issue, so Dave encourages listeners to dig into the assets of relationships, time, opportunity, money and resources, as well as talents, to begin and continue on the financial freedom path.

“When you decide to start a project, or in this case, get out of debt or attain financial goals you haven’t had before, it is very important to be clear on what you have and what you have to work with,” Dave says.

Obedience to the Lord, and commitment to the journey are also essential.

“Knowing where you want to go, and sticking with it, are so important,” Reb says. “And having people around you who can encourage you when you get discouraged, insecure, or tired is also key. This keeps you on track in your commitment to what you have set out to do.”
