Dave and Reb again welcome Ottawa financial advisor Bold Kere of Bold Care Financial to today’s episode of “Let’s Talk Money”, as they continue their discussion about Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, and how to navigate this new world of financial digital investing, especially as Christians. Today’s show is the second of two parts where Dave and Reb help listeners navigate this new form of currency in the digital world.
As a financial advisor, Bold stresses that investing in cryptocurrency is not easy, and much research needs to be done. He also encourages people only to invest what they can afford to lose, as there continues to be so much to learn in this type of investing. As he explains, you don’t need to invest in one entire Bitcoin, but it can be purchased in percentages.
To learn more about crypto currency, tune in to today’s podcast. If you want to experience a more in depth discussion, Bold recommends a course by Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman Gary Gensler. Here is the link to the class he gave at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) on the subject of crypto before he became SEC chairman: https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/sloan-school-of-management/15-s12-blockchain-and-money-fall-2018/video-lectures/
