On today’s “Let’s Talk Money”, Dave and Reb discuss the current global supply chain crisis and our consumer attitudes to how it is affecting our choices, especially as the Christmas season approaches. They remind listeners to be patient, find other solutions, and to learn contentment in the midst of this unprecedented situation.
Attitudes of entitlement may arise, but Dave and Reb share how Psalm 33 can refocus us on the Lord. “No king is saved by the multitude of an army; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength. Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy, To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine.” (verses 16-19)
“The Scripture also says that waiting on the Lord is an important part to trusting Him because He is our help and our shield,” Reb says. “Waiting patiently in the midst of these current situations will help us grow closer to the Lord, but also grant us peace.”
