It started with a quote from Dave. Do we create our own wonder and do we believe God is holding out on us? Those are the thoughts prompting today’s discussion with Rev. Ray Borg on episode #390 of “Let’s Talk Money with Dave and Reb”. Together they dig deep and encourage listeners to peel back the layers of their belief systems, and respond to Jesus’ invitation.
“Jesus has already given us the hope found in Isaiah 61 and offers it as an invitation to us,” Ray says. “He invites us to see that He is with us in the pain and pressure and grief and He wants to give us a new hope and perspective in it. He is not holding out on us, but we do get to experience Him in the process just as He experienced His Father’s presence in His hard things. That is what held him steadfast.”
