The Entrepreneur’s Journey

Being an entrepreneur is no easy thing. There are challenges, joys, sorrows, ups and downs. In today’s show, More Than Enough Entrepreneurial Coach Bron Vasic talks with Dave and Reb about how entrepreneurs can “do business God’s way”.

Bron points out to listeners that often times, the focus of earning money gets in the way of doing what people were born to do, or what God has called them to do. He suggests discovering again what you love doing and taking steps to go after those pursuits.

“Bron has often told us that entrepreneurs will hire employees to do what they themselves love doing, and then they end up doing the work they really don’t like,” Reb says. “A part of doing business with God, is rediscovering what you love to do.”

Dave and Reb suggest doing online personality tests, spiritual tests or Tom Rath’s StrengthsFinder 2.0 to start uncovering how you are wired, and some of the desires that you may have forgotten.

At More Than Enough, coaches at the office help entrepreneurs and others walk through this process. One of the things that motivates them as a team is a verse found in 2 Corinthians 5: “For the love of God compels us…”

“It is our desire, driven by the love of God, to see people reconciled to God, and walking in their calling and purpose,” Dave says.
