Thanksgiving
In this season of Thanksgiving, Dave and Reb remind us of the importance of connecting thankfulness with giving, and remembering the blessings and goodness of God in our past and present.
Thankfulness and gratitude flow out of hearts of love, and hands that are open to receive and to give. The show starts with a look back at their first show Let’s Talk Money in November, 2016. Together they remember the people who have helped them get where they are today.
“We couldn’t do this radio show without our More Than Enough team who supports us and meets the needs of all those that come to us for coaching, taxes and help,” Dave says. “And we are so grateful to CHRI for providing us this opportunity, and our listeners who encourage us, and our sponsors who have financially supported us this year and helped us be on the air.”
As they reflect on the years behind them, Dave and Reb encourage listeners to remember the goodness of the Lord and to reflect and meditate on His ways in their lives.
“Remembering can lead to gratitude when we recall God’s faithfulness,” Reb says.
Remembering and being thankful can also lead to giving. David emphasizes the importance of intentionally planning charitable giving for 2019 even during this Thanksgiving weekend.
“There couldn’t be a better time than now,” he says.
