Building a solid foundation – it’s better without cracks

Chartered Accountant and More Than Enough Entrepreneurial Coach Bron Vasic joins Dave and Reb on today’s show to talk about pitfalls that keep entrepreneurs “behind the eight-ball” in their personal and business finances.

Together, they look at how a wise man will build on a true and strong foundation, not a foundation with cracks.

“Jesus reminds us in the story of the wise and foolish builders found in Luke 6, that storms come and we need to have good foundations to keep standing,” Reb says. “And in terms of our business finances, that truth holds true.”

Some of the ideas they discuss include: seeking wise counsel, running your business as a business and understanding profitability.

“Do not chase the dollars, or have a business that simply exchanges four quarters for a dollar,” Bron says. “There needs to be a business model that is more than just about managing cashflow. It needs to be about making a return that allows the business to stay strong in times of flooding, because we all know, economic floods do come.”

Tune in to hear more of their conversation.
