Together they look at the complexities and blessings attached to these conversations, and how to start them and keep them going no matter the circumstances.
In the book of First Timothy, Paul admonishes Timothy to guard what has been entrusted to him, turning away from idle chatter and the ideas of what is falsely called knowledge. In the same way, Dave and Reb talk about how the conversations around money are something God has entrusted to us.
“We need to have these important money conversations because we want to steward and take care of what God has given us,” Reb says. “Money conversations are a part of our discipleship journey.”
