Two brides. Two weddings. Two ways to save money. On today’s radio show with Dave and Reb, Ashlyn Stanley and Mercedes Veselka share their wedding day preparation stories, and how their special celebrations didn’t break the bank.

Ashlyn shares about the intentional planning they did and the time it took to plan for their traditional wedding celebration, while Mercedes describes the wedding-concert they created that involved everyone on the guest list. She says she received a lot of help from her family, as she was in the midst of exams and fourth-year university papers.

They both agree, that no matter what you decide to do on your wedding day, it is YOUR wedding, so do what pleases you and your groom the most.

“You will always be tempted to spend more money than you plan, but that is why you have help from others to stick to that plan,” Reb says. “A wedding does not have to cost you $35,000 to be memorable or beautiful.”

Listen to these two unique experiences as Ashlyn and Mercedes share them with Dave and Reb.  You may find some ideas of your own as you listen to their conversation.
