Financial Advisor Tim Jenkins joins Dave and Reb on “Let’s Talk Money” today encouraging listeners to grow in their giving in 2021.
“No matter where we are, on the giving journey, we need to understand the obstacles that get in the way of giving,” Reb says. “Our egos, our fear, and our insecurities all play apart in keeping us holding tightly to our money.”
Understanding that God is our provider is also a key factor in learning how to give and what to give.
“The question we need to ask is ‘Father, how would you want us to use your money?’” Tim says. “We need to consider this: what do we have that we haven’t been given?”
Giving is always a place for growth.
“I know many, many generous people but I’ve never seen anyone become less generous,” Tim says. “People just continue to be more and more generous.”
