Rev. Ray Borg from notmine.ca joins Dave and Reb today on “Let’s Talk Money with Dave and Reb” to talk about the provision Israel received from places of slavery through the desert and into the promised land. The same provision they received in ancient times is the same provision available to us. God made known his ways to Moses, and his deeds to the people of Israel, according to Psalms 103. This knowledge of God’s deeds and His ways is available to us as we journey in our finances today.
God provided the fire and cloud on Israel’s journey to the promised land. He gave them food and water. He gave them His Presence. They had what they needed, and God has given us what we need, if we just open our eyes and ears to what He is doing around us.
“There is so much going on,” Rev. Borg says. “I don’t want to miss in this season what He is doing in my heart.”
Attentiveness and intentional time with the Lord are key components to understanding how God is working in the hard places, and in the places of promise.
“As Brian Doerksen writes in one of his songs, we ask God to show us His way, His Truth, and the road that always leads us back to Christ – that is the Jesus way,” Reb says.
