With our four children all under the age of eight, planning activities or a date night was often a challenge. Between finding babysitters, preparing meals to leave behind, or thinking about what to wear, getting out the door on a date often took administrative genius.

I want to be a partner to my spouse that can “rumble” through hard financial times, decisions and discussions, as part of the greater purpose of offering strength to our family and community.
It was something I said and yelled often in my family of adults. I grew up the youngest of seven children – arriving much later than the rest – and our dinner conversations were always lively and loud.
